GPS provides a platform for leaders from around the world to engage in frank and thought-provoking discussions on issues impacting global prosperity.
The inaugural Global Prosperity Summit was successfully held in May 2024 in Hong Kong. Over 250 distinguished thought leaders, including keynote speaker Professor Roger D. Kornberg, the 2006 laureate of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, participated in fruitful discussions on the dominant issues impacting global prosperity. Topics included technology, globalisation, competition in geopolitics and sustainable development. The 2024 Summit was featured in more than 200 pieces of positive news reporting and generated close to 350,000 viewer impressions on social media, reaching readers and audiences from all around the world.
Building on the momentum of its previous iteration, GPS2025 is poised to deliver an equally, if not more, inspiring and thought-provoking experience, enhanced by new guest speakers, additional co-organising and supporting organisations as well as new strategic global collaborations, further solidifying Hong Kong's position as the leading international platform for fostering meaningful dialogues.
