ABOUT GPS24
Global Prosperity Summit 2024 (GPS 24) is organised by a group of business, academic and thought leaders in Hong Kong to provide a platform for honest, objective and rational discussions of dominant issues impacting global prosperity. The inaugural meeting will be held in Hong Kong in the week of 13 May 2024.
GPS 24 is organised by GPS Hong Kong and co-organised by the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (“SIIS”) and Savantas Policy Institute Limited, with Savantas Liberal Arts Academy as the supporting organisation.

GPS 24 consists of five Thematic Panels, covering the following topics:
1. Globalisation and De-globalisation;
2. Science and Technological Co-operation and the Future of Mankind;
3. Great Power Competition and Peaceful Co-existence;
4. Risks of Pan-securitisation and the Impact on Development; and
5. Climate Change and Sustainable Development.

In addition, a Young Leaders’ Forum that brings together visionary young business entrepreneurs, executives and scholars from across Asia will brainstorm the world’s economic future in 2024.
Professor Roger D. Kornberg, Professor of Structural Biology at Stanford University School of Medicine, will be delivering the keynote speech. Professor Kornberg is the 2006 laureate of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his studies of the molecular basis of eukaryotic transcription.

A diverse group of distinguished speakers from mainland China, Hong Kong, the US, Europe and Asia will share their perspectives from their respective business, academic and geopolitical standpoints.
